One of the things that I believe in is the scientific fact of “neural recruitment” when it comes to exercise. “Neural recruitment” occurs when you stress your muscles to the point of fatigue and soreness, but you press on for that one last rep. That last rep, the one where you can’t quite get it and actually fail, is the one that causes your body to recruit all its muscle fibers and conditions you to respond in a way that builds muscle and strength. This “neural recruitment” means that weight training is one of the only activities in which You only succeed when you fail!
My personal training approach emphasizes the “personal.” I get to know you and get know what it is that you want out of a training program. There is no cookie-cutter approach because no two people are the same. Even though I believe in tried and true methods based on scientific research and avoid “fads,” your program is tailored to you because emotionally and motivationally, you are different than every other client I have.
